Installation
|
|
The
OLfolders installation must be executed at the server and
at all clients. You probably want to store the download
on a network drive. At the server computer, start OLfolders
server from the start menu. At each client you find a new
menu item in Outlook, which allows you to connect to the
server: Tools/OLfolders/Connect to server.

To download OLfolders to your computer,
simply click the download link OLfolders Server and
Client above and save the installation file to your
computer. Be sure to remember where you saved the file
(your folder for Program Files might be a good place).

Once the file has downloaded completely,
please open the folder containing the file you downloaded.
Double-click the installation file you just downloaded
to start installing OLfolders on your computer.

you will find additional information to the first steps
in OLfolders.

One QSynchronization
user license is included free of charge with each licensed
client copy of OLfolders.

The version
you download has a built in 30 days
evaluation key for one user. If you
like to test with more than one
client, please order a cost free
test licenses in the form below.
OLfolders allows
connection of clients without any license
code but will restrict the view of every
folder to 25 elements, you see only
25 emails, 25 contacts, 25 tasks, 25
appointments etc. The calendar may appear
empty on some systems if no license
is installed.

You will receive a cost free
license code within a few
minutes. Using this code, you
can use OLfolders or OLfoldersPE without restriction with all
workstations connected. Please
enter the code in Help/Licenses.
Purchase a permanent license
If you
like to continue OLfolders after the
evaluation phase has been expired,
please purchase a license code in
our Online-Shop.
You will receive a confirmation mail
within a few minutes and your
license key in a separate email.
Please
remember that you do not need to
re-install the application,
registration is done by entering the
license code into in a separate
email.

and to optimum effect.

Programm update
|
|
OLfolders Update - If you want to make an update on the
newest version of OLfolders, then proceed please exactly
the same procedure, as with a new installation and install
the new version (download, see above) simply "over" the
previous version, e.g. on each Client PC incl. OLfolders-Server.
Your MS Outlook data remains unchanged. Updates on new versions
are free of charge.
